About Us
Savoryventure is an independent review of the software industry — reporting, analysis and field notes for the people who actually build and ship the work.
We are not a launch blog and we are not a press-release funnel. We start from the questions engineers, founders and operators are really asking — should we adopt this, what will it cost us, what breaks at scale — and we do the reading, the testing and the arithmetic so you don’t have to take a vendor’s word for it.
What we report on
How we work
Every report is researched before it is published and revisited when the facts change. When we test a tool, we say what we tested, on what, and for how long. When we recommend something, that recommendation reflects our own assessment — never a placement.
- Independent. Editorial decisions are made by our desk, and only our desk.
- Specific. We prefer a number you can check to an adjective you can’t.
- Honest about uncertainty. Where the evidence is thin, we say so.
The desk
Savoryventure is written and edited by a small team of working engineers and technology writers. Story tips, corrections and disagreements are all welcome — the good ones make the next report better. Reach us via the contact page or at [email protected].
